The Chattanooga Research Institute needed a web presence to share with interested parties all the people involved in their research as well as the latest headlines they have been making. It’s a really fun, clean site, built on concrete5 (c5). This was my first full site to use c5 and I must say that I am a fan of this, fairly new, lightweight, CMS.
The use of c5 for this site made it really easy. It’s one page, with 5 or 6 areas and anchor tabs, in a fixed nav, linking to them. The slideshow with the employees is particularly interesting because it allows others to be added within the slideshow layout itself. Once you’ve navigated past the last employee there’s a spot to add a new one. Very useful for illustrating what the new information will look like and not at all difficult to implement.
