I am a bit of a geek, although that’s pretty easy to come up with given the nature of the topics on my site. I was born in and have spent my life in and around Chattanooga, TN. Being from the south, I have a few stereotypes to overcome. My southern accent might give one the impression that I am less intelligent than I really am. Given that, I would imagine that I tend to surprise folks.
I am not an extremely social person. I tend to work well on my own, but I am more than capable of being congenial. I spend my off-time reading science fiction and fantasy novels, watching educational programming or something entertaining like MythBusters and Top-Gear, or working around my home. When I have a freelance project to do, it gets my full attention when I’m not at work. I don’t believe on procrastination because it will lead to nothing but problems.
I am happily married and we have 2 dogs, Baxter (some kind of crazy Terrier/Lab hybrid or something) and Annabelle (Chihuahua/Terrier mix). We share a small house and try to stay out-from-under one-another’s feet. My wife loves to be out-and-about with her family, so I’m often hanging out at the house with the mutts. The only way things could get better is if the dogs would fetch me food and drink.
