Nine to Five

I am currently a Senior User Experience Developer at AREA203 Digital in Chattanooga, Tennessee. I develop and maintain websites and web software while trying to share what I know with my coworkers. I try to lead by example for those who come after me and would love nothing more than for my teammates to be successful because of something I taught them.

After Hours

I fill my evenings and weekends with a variety of pastimes. I love to learn, so I read voraciously and freelance to help me advance in both my professional career and personal life. That same love of learning would explain why I’m drawn to TV programs like the Discovery Channel. I also like to spend time with like-minded friends and family. My wife, Gina, and I have 2 dogs: Annabelle, a chihuahua-terrier mix and Baxter, a mix of mysterious origin. We collect tattoos.

I discovered years ago that I am more logical than I am creative. As a result you’ll see more skill in programming than in design. That being said, I do spend a lot of time designing my code with the end-user in mind. From developing mobile first to optimizing the content with various environmental capabilities in mind, I do my best to ensure that users get the content they need when they need it as fast as possible.
